Before choosing your size
Always compare your body measurements against the relevant brand size chart. Do not rely only on your usual clothing size, as protective equipment, chainsaw PPE, technical footwear and arborist workwear can fit differently between brands.

General Sizing Advice
Measure yourself using a soft tape measure and compare your measurements to the relevant brand chart.
For chainsaw trousers, check waist and inside leg. For boots, check your usual size, sock thickness and foot width. For gloves, measure around the widest part of the hand. For helmets, measure around the head just above the eyebrows and ears.
If you are between sizes, think about movement, layering and how the item will be used at work. PPE should not be so loose that it moves around, or so tight that it restricts movement.
